I suspect we will see a bit of that - Internet traditional search advertising will disappear the way MySpace did. But, ad placement on agentic surfaces will work their way in. You may tell Gemini what you want to buy, but you will see a list of ads popup even before it searches; when Gemini comes back, it shows you the jeans it bought along with a coupon from a sponsored brand.
